Jack Wilshere made his return from a 14-month injury
The England midfielder, 20, Jack Wilshere, missed all of last season because of ankle, foot and heel injuries.what a sad story in the life of a footballer!.
He is working his way back to full fitness after being sidelined for seven months with a knee injury.
Both Wilshere and Frimpong are likely to step up their recovery in the under-21s game against Reading next Monday. Wilshere's last Arsenal appearance was in a pre-season friendly against New York Red Bulls last year, when he suffered an ankle injury.
The midfielder encountered complications in his rehabilitation and then suffered a knee problem that required surgery last April.
While lacking sharpness, Wilshere looked lively against West Brom before he was withdrawn in the 63rd minute.
West Brom won the game 1-0 with Yassine El Ghanassy scoring the winner in the 40th minute.
Thank God he is back.
Arsenal's most-used player in 2010-2011 season
took a significant step towards recovery with an encouraging display against the Baggies.
There was more good news for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as Emmanuel Frimpong played 70 minutes. He is working his way back to full fitness after being sidelined for seven months with a knee injury.

Lewandowski is key against man city
Robert Lewandowski ,the Polish striker hardly got a touch when his Dortmund side suffered a 2-1 defeat
away to Arsenal in November 2011.The Bundesliga Player of the Season: 2011-12 will be on show again against Manchester City on Wednesday in the Champions League as the Bundesliga giants visit Etihad Stadium.
He scored a single, inconsequential goal - in the 3-1 away defeat to Olympiakos - during Dortmund's doomed campaign, where they finished bottom of their group behind Arsenal, Marseille and Olympiakos.
"Lewa", as they call him in the dressing room, already opened his Champions League account with a fine, late goal against Ajax in the 1-0 win at the Signal Iduna Park.
centre-back Subotic. said "Aguero, Balotelli, Tevez or Dzeko are players I want to measure myself against," "In Manchester, I can see how far I've come." The confidence has returned following a 5-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday night.wow!. but Wednesday will certainly answer a lot of questions, for both sides.
Champions League Group E; FC Nordsjaelland vs Chelsea
Roberto Di Matteo Chelsea boss intends to field a strong side
against FC Nordsjaelland but Daniel Sturridge misses out with a
hamstring problem.
The England forward's absence means striker Fernando Torres now looks certain to maintain his record of having started every match this season.
Frank Lampard is set to return to the side having been left out of the starting XI for the past three matches.
Di Matteo may rest one or two players but wholesale changes are not likely.
"It'll be a strong team," he said ahead of the Group E Champions League game.
"There might be a couple of changes, because we played a very intense game on Saturday. A win would certainly help, and that's what we're aiming for.
Di Matteo went on to insist Lampard's future was "very strong", despite renewed speculation over whether the midfielder's glittering Stamford Bridge career might be drawing to a close.
"He's a very important player for us," he added. "I've had conversations with him, yeah, which I do on a regular basis with the players. I like to exchange opinions. He's very supportive of the team when he's not in the team. When he's in the team, he's a great performer as well."
Nordsjaelland were only formed in 1991 following a merger of two clubs from the eastern Danish town of Farum, and not a single member of their playing staff had previously sampled Champions League football prior to this season.
They have nonetheless acquired a reputation for playing expansive, possession-based football under highly rated coach Kasper Hjulmand, and impressed despite losing 2-0 at Shakhtar Donetsk in their Group E opener.
"It's a fantastic story - winning the league for the first time in their history; a young coach, trying to develop a brand of football that he likes," Di Matteo added.
"Nordsjaelland have shown how good they are. They went to Shakhtar and had the majority of possession against a good team. They weren't afraid to play their football and it'll be difficult for us.
"On paper, we probably are the favourites, but we have to show this on the pitch."
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure believes they can win the Champions League this season.
Yaya Toure, 29, Manchester City midfielder believes the Premier League holders can win the Champions League this season. He said "I have that experience of wining the Champions League with Barcelona in 2009 and it is good to have big players like Maicon and Mario Balotelli who wins the league with Inter Milan in 2010. It is not easy to win the Champions League, but we have a very good team and with a team like this we can go very far in the competition,"

Ricky Hatton comeback set for approval by boxing officials
Former two-weight world champion Ricky Hatton's comeback has moved
closer after he appeared before boxing officials to ask for his licence
back.
Hatton, 33, attended a British Boxing Board of Control
(BBBoC) meeting in Cardiff on Wednesday and is set to hold a news
conference on Friday.
General secretary Robert Smith told BBC Sport: "His licence will be granted pending the completion of medicals.
"He spoke well, looks fit and he wants to have one more hurrah."
Hatton, nicknamed 'The Hitman', has not fought since suffering a second-round knockout by Manny Pacquiao in May 2009.
The Manchester-based former light-welterweight and welterweight champion
formally retired last year
with a record of 45 wins and two defeats and now runs his own promotions company.
In 2010, Hatton was
stripped of his licence to box
by the BBBoC after allegations of cocaine usage.
"He looks very well, everything seems to be in order and he's sorted himself out," Smith said.
"From what he was saying, he seems very settled with his family. He has already had some of the medicals and we are making sure he's on track."
Hatton dominated the light-welterweight division and his most notable win at that weight came against IBF champion Kostya Tszyu in 2005.
The following year, Hatton defeated Puerto Rican Luis Collazo to take the WBA world welterweight title and followed that victory by beating Juan Urango to reclaim his IBF light-welterweight title.
He lost to American five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather in 2007 and suffered a comprehensive beating by Pacquiao in his final fight three years ago.
Hatton, who frequently ballooned in weight between bouts, has lost three stone this year and is tipped to return to action with a fight in November.
He stopped Paulie Malignaggi in 11 rounds in his penultimate fight in 2008, since when the American has become the WBA welterweight champion.
Hatton's former promoter Frank Warren believes the comeback is a mistake.
"I believe he's had a good career and he should reflect on that," said Warren.
Play media
"No-one should be encouraging him to return and I just hope it doesn't wind up being a big disappointment for him."

But former world champion Barry McGuigan has told the BBC that Hatton can win a world title again.
"There's every chance we'll see 90% of the Ricky Hatton we saw a few years back and that will be good enough to beat someone like Paulie Malignaggi," McGuigan said.

Supercopa Clasico remains open
Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, the only one believes that his side's Spanish Supercopa clash with Barcelona remains wide open, despite the Catalans holding a 3-2 advantage from the first leg.
The Portuguese coach is certain that his troops are able to overturn the deficit if they put in the right performance, but stressed that he was not overly concerned with the outcome on Wednesday's match after a poor start to the club's Liga defense.
Winning the Supercopa and beating Barcelona is not important to me. My priority is knowing what happened against Getafe [on Sunday] - whether it's a psychological problem. What's important is knowing whether that was a one-off.
The capital club is still searching for their winning this season after the 2-1 defeat to Getafe, a 1-1 draw with Valencia and the reverse at Camp Nou, but the only one, feels the team's performances have been impressive, the loss aside.
SinceLuka Modric have been added to the squad, and Mourinho is looking forward to the Croatian making an impact, and also confirmed that concussion-victim Pepe is available for selection. I pray you win.

complete his move from Tottenham Hotspur, and his compatriot believes

Barca to lodge second appeal against Vilanova dismissal
Barca manager Tito Vilanova suspend for
two matche. What is going on in laliga this summer!
Barcelona will lodge a second appeal against the dismissal of coach Tito Vilanova in Sunday's
2-1 win at Osasuna after the Spanish soccer federation (RFEF)
rejected an initial effort and suspended the coach for two games
on Wednesday.
Barca felt Vilanova's dismissal from the bench, which came
on his away debut in the league, was excessively harsh.
He protested the referee's decision not to award a free kick
for a challenge on Sergio Busquets and the referee said in his
match report he had punished Vilanova "for angrily protesting a
passage of play, having been warned by the fourth official".

Coentrao will missed the final leg of the supercopa classico
The 24-year-old portugal international left back Fabio Coentrao will misse the final leg of the Supercopa Classico against the spanish giant Barcelona FC tonighgt as the Spanish football federation has handed the defender a
four-match ban following his red card in the 2-1 loss against Getafe on Sunday.
The Portugal international did not feature during Madrid's surprise loss, but was dismissed in the closing stages of the encounter after insulting the match official while being seated on the bench.
Coentrao called referee Miguel Angel Perez Lasa 'a son of a wh**e' during the encounter, and the disciplinary committee has not taken the wing-back's outburst lightly as they've banned him for four matchdays.
